Common questions.

How do I book a consultation?

Send a message using the form above, or call or email directly, and a member of the team will come back to you to arrange a time that works.

Do I need a GP referral?

If you are using private medical insurance, your insurer will usually ask for a GP referral before authorising a consultation, so it is worth checking your policy first. Self-paying patients can normally book directly without one.

Which insurers does Mr Trikha accept?

Mr Trikha accepts all private medical insurers, including Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, Cigna, WPA, Allianz, Aetna, Healix, The Exeter, Freedom and Saga. Self-paying patients are equally welcome.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Any existing scans, reports or referral letters, and your insurance details if you are using them. Loose clothing or shorts make it easier to examine the knee properly.

What happens at the first consultation?

We talk through your symptoms, history and goals, and examine the knee together. Any imaging needed is arranged quickly, the findings are explained in plain terms, and we agree a plan that fits your life, often non-surgical first.

Where does Mr Trikha see patients?

Consultations and surgery are based in Surrey and London.
