Surrey Knee Symposium 2026.
Bringing together the professionals who look after knees. A day of talks, questions and discussion.
The Surrey Knee Symposium 2026 brought together surgeons, physiotherapists, sports therapists, bracing and injection specialists and nutrition professionals for a day dedicated to joined-up knee care. The day was organised by Mr Trikha and Össur UK, alongside the Surrey Orthopaedic Clinic.
The day covered the whole journey of the knee patient. From acute injury and non-operative care through to surgery, rehabilitation and the return to the things people love.
On the day
- Mr Paul Trikha (Knee Surgeon). The orthopaedic management of knee pain, assessment of the knee, and practical decision making for ACL injuries, with live patient case studies.
- Dr Hywel Evans (Radiologist). Radiological anatomy and MRI basics: how to look at scans.
- Tilly Miverton (Specialist Sports Therapy). Return to running and return to sport.
- Peter Gill (Bracing Specialist). A bracing masterclass.
- Ben Steele-Turner (Physiutrition). Supplementation for knee osteoarthritis.
- Tom Williams (Physiotherapist). The acute management of knee pain and knee injury.
- Jim Carr (EOS Active). Cingal and Monovisc injections.
- James Bayes-Garrould. Knee injections.
- James Belsey. Post-operative cryocompression therapy: what is the evidence?
- Hal Robson-Kanu (Founder of The Turmeric Co. and former Premier League and international footballer). Sharing his own recovery journey and the potential role of turmeric in recovery and wellbeing.
The strongest outcomes come from joined-up care. Surgeons, physiotherapists, sports therapists, bracing specialists, injection specialists, nutrition professionals and patients working together.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, and to Össur UK.
